1959 – 2026
Timothy “Tim” Donahue, Sr., 67 of Dickson City passed away Tuesday September 15th at Allied Hospice after an extended illness. Born in Scranton he was the son of Ann Marie Boylan Donahue Clarke, Clarks Summit and the late Eugene “Gene” T. Donahue, Sr. Tim was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, a graduate of West Scranton HS Class 0f 1977 and later obtained his real estate license.
Tim worked as an EMT with Donahue Ambulance Service before becoming certified as a real estate agent. He eventually served as the president of the Scranton Board of Realtors. Tim was an outdoorsman who enjoyed time hunting and spending time with family. He will be remembered as a real people person who was always willing to help.
In addition to his mother Ann Marie, Tim is survived by his son Timothy (Avalon) Donahue and granddaughter Darcy; his daughter Mallory (Mark) Oleski and granddaughter Brynleigh; sisters Eileen (Paul) Goscinski and Diane (John) Pitts and nieces and nephews.
Tim was also preceded in death by brother Gene and his wife Maureen and nephew Matthew Casciano.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St Patrick’s Church, IHM Chapel, 1403 Jackson St., Scranton 18504. Interment will follow at the convenience of the family in Cathedral Cemetery.
